Good day Icebreaker,
I had posted a comment on the Facebook fan page, but wanted to write here as well. You have an event at the store in Manhattan on Dec. 2. I’m in New York and am a fan of Icebreaker and for the most part, wear nothing else over the last several months.
Is the event for all to attend or an invitation only event?
I had seen you are or were accepting applications for employment there.
I would welcome the opportunity to be able to work for this wonderful company on a part time basis, if any opportunities would be still available.
Thank you so much,
Todd Hudson
I love Idebreaker.
May I suggest a sportcoat for travel. Something to wear with a dress shirt or Icebreaker polo.
Also how about a V-neck vest to go over dress shirt.
I travel a bit and I think it would be great for all my clothes to be Icebreaker.
Thanks.
i love icebreaker but why is it made in china? i payed 109 $ and its made in china!!! why not make it in the North America or South America or in Europe or New Zealand . why pay so much for something made in china!!!!! i will pay 10 or 20 more dollars to get it not made in china!!
Don’t waste your time buying this stuff. I bought underwear and wore them twice, washed them twice (in a front load unit that is easy on garments) and they now have a hole in them.
Cheap “Made in China” crap. Cool catchy “earthy” marketing but basic cheap junk.
Hi Stuart, It’s very disappointing to hear that you have not been satisfied with the performance of your Icebreaker product. At Icebreaker, we take pride in the quality of our garments and stand behind this with a guarantee for any customers who are unhappy with the way their Icebreaker is performing. Please email us at cs@icebreaker.com and we can help you with a suitable replacement if you are interested.
I had visited the New York store the day after the party and felt like a kid in a candy store.
I’m a fan, no doubt.
I’m in between Virginia and New York for the next few months, however when I’m settled back in Manhattan in the summer; as I stated above, I’d be seriously interested in a part time opportunity in the store.
Thanks so much!
Best wishes for your new store in NYC! I have been lucky to get icebreaker underwear in Vienna before and I am going to add shirts to the two pants (long and short, one for hiking, one for skitouring). It comforts me to know this brand exists. Synthetics did not keep me warm!
I bought my first Icebreaker shirt in NZ in 2003- have been a fan ever since. I now own 7 shirts and the Mayfair coat and only bring Icebreaker clothing on all my hiking trips. They are bit expensive but well worth its weight in gold. Can’t wait to visit your NYC store!
hi,
I’d love to see photos of the New York store, is there any way of doing this?
Hi Sal, check out our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/icebreakernz go to the photos tab and you’ll see we posted an album of Glamour shots by Ty Cole a couple of months ago. Enjoy!
Perhaps it is that I’m not really on the lookout. But why “TouchLab? Is there any relations with the phenomenon of Creative Labs? Does it invite guests to share their ideas to the company … or is it simply that we are allowed to “touch ” the clothes … because it’s so soft!;) thanks for your great products!
Hey there, love your pieces. Your fantastic stuff has been on my blog a couple of times. Today was about visiting your NY store and hanging out with the buff sheep!

Loved shopping in your SOHO store today. Your people and clothing are AWESOME. Left with 4 shopping bags. A great place to spoil my daughter with wonderful gifts and love. All my best, Barry
just bought a new 250 merino top to replace an old one, the new one clearly stated made in china, whereas the old one didn’t have that on the label. I thought it was terrible that such a great item is being made in china. It’s not like your selling it at a resonable price £75.00. I also thought the quality wasn’t as good as my old icebreaker merino, the material didn;t feel as soft and it was definitely more itchy. I used to love this product but not anymore. I hate that everything is being made in China and your helping them take over the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What shops and what towns on the South Island can I buy ice breaker women’s shirts?
I went on the 25th March having researched the location of all the Icebreaker stores in manhattan on the icebreaker site. It did not say closed until 1st April so very disappointed to find it was closed for renovations. Very poor way to treat customers.
