This Fall/Winter 2012 we’re fusing nature with technology.
Look out for two exciting new innovations in water-resistant merino outer layers, both based on our popular Realfleece – a pure merino natural alternative to synthetic fleece. Plus there’s an explosion of colour and plenty of irresistible new styles.
Here’s a first look at what’s to come…

Your leadoff video is horrible, anything is better than that stupid video. Irritating music, too little footage of your clothes; even the scenic pictures and video sucked. I used to click on your website just for the cool pictures, and get your catalog for the same reason. But that video sucks why the hell would I want to ever look at.
How about a zipper vent across the shoulders to release heat and prevent sweating when working hard in cold temps?
Your video is the perfect reminder that this brutally hot summer will come to an end and another winter season will be upon us before we know it. The scenery is beautiful and I just can’t wait to see what you guys will come up with next. Did I spot a white sweater with a pink stripe? I would sport that in the slopes any day!
The video was short but enjoyable. It told the story of the lifestyle that is associated with Icebreaker in winter. I also liked the stills, especially the man’s light grey sweater with 4 horizontal pinstripes. Nice to look forward to when it is scorching outside.
Hi,
Don’t get me wrong; your website always look great and your products are first class, but could you fix the spelling mistake “irresistible” and “colors” in American English if you want to go that route. Thanks for fixing the mistakes, and sorry for being such a pain.
The video went off to a shaking start. I agree some of the shots look a little amateurish, and you could have spent a little more time showing off the clothes. Having said that, the backdrop looked fantastic. With a little more careful editing, your video would have been great. I think it was not up to your usual standard, not so polished, almost rushed.
Just unpacked 400 pieces of IB at the shop I where I work.. Beautiful !!!!
I gotta say that looked pretty cool.
I bet those IceBreaker models love there jobs
!
“When in doubt… wear WOOL!”
Thanks so much for the comments. Marie-Claire, thank you for picking up the spelling mistake – we use the word colour as we are a New Zealand company. Sorry some of you didn’t like the video – it is simply some amateur video clips that we put together from our on location photography shoot in the South Island of New Zealand. It is a sneak peek and not meant to be anything more. Steven, we’ll pass on your feedback to our product design team. We know you’ll love the new season range once it’s out there.
Hey!
I loved the video. Went in expecting a preview, not a fashion show. Preview did it’s job – can’t wait to see more! Already like the color pallet and new shapes for girls.
Txs for taking me to the mtns…it’s crazy hot in S.C.-USA!!
If these shots are of New Zealand– South Island, then I want to come back to be a Kiwi. The video felt a lot like my honeymoon in
Winter (June July ) 2001. My wife and I fell in love with New Zealand. Unlike some of your critics the rough and handmade lokking shots in the video helped bring me back. When I bike or hike in my GT gear, I dream of the Southern Alps and the coastal highway to Kaikoura—eating seafood on the beach with snow capped peaks on the western horizon: flippin’ awesome!
Models would look better if their packs were adjusted properly. Sternum straps should be just below the collarbone, not lower across the chest where they inhibit taking a deep breath.
