I recently had foot surgery and my foot feels cold all the time. i have tried Merino and Wool, but unless I wear socks and a slipper it still feels cold. Please help me with your wonderful socks Ice Breaker?
I need new socks because all my current technical socks are worn as thin as dress socks.
HI;
I need new socks because I have 2 young daughters (17 and 20) and they take all my socks.
I have just discovered wool socks this year for toasty toes while mountain biking, and now I wear wool all the time and would love to wear some Icebreaker socks.
And one other thing, I love that Icebreaker has ‘sole’ discretion over promotional material…. get it?… ‘sole’ discretion in a sock competition…that’s pretty good.
My socks all seem to lose friction after a while and then slide down to mid-foot during walking… I love all things Icebreaker and would adore a collection of these socks and I am SURE they would ‘stay up’ for their entire life!
after shopping a collection of great icebreaker shirts in short and longsleave i run out of money. But I need some socks immediately
for my trip to Mexico. So please help a real icebreaker fan to complete the equipment.
I would love to win new socks because I work with little children and our classroom is a “shoe free” classroom. Most of my socks wear down rather quickly since I’m not wearing shoes and I’d love to rock some awesome Icebreaker socks instead of my boring plain grey ones!
Living in New York City, I found myself needing waterproof shoes, but those have surprise weakness: shin high puddles!
Luckily, having your brand of socks means that I at least have a hope of drying off without having a spare pair of socks.
I definitely need to win this pize my darling daughter who is at Waikato University came home in the last semester break and “borrowed” all my nice warm socks because it is colder down there she said, now I am having to wear hubbys which are too big!!!! Help!
Back in 2006, lacking much in the way of swag for the 250 media accredited for the UCI Mountain Bike and Trials Worlds in Rotorua, and with no budget, it was a magic moment when you lovely fellas stumped up for a sizable box of socks. Amanda Dorset, you rock!
They went down a treat with the media and my team (who also got a lightweight merino top each). I grabbed the leftovers and gave them to the wider team who put on a massive event pretty much on oxygen and goodwill – and that bought an audited $35 million into the community. And shone a light on MTB in our place (not just Rotovegas, but Aotearoa). Socks and tops are still going strong almost exactly 6 years on.
I sent a pair to a mate who’s on the board of Livestrong in the USA and he loved them so much he bought the last of that run! And yes, he’s worn them on rides with the big guy.
We were in Europe last winter (coldest in 30 years; -10C in Berlin in the sun) and they still did the business…I’ve been pretty crook and have lost a lot of weight since we got back and they’ve kept me warm during a cold Rotorua winter
Thanks.
Next year I am media director for the 2013 White Water Rafting Worlds here in Rotorua, Kawerau and rivers of the region. Any chance of another swag bag? Keen to win that prize, too.
I need new socks because I run everyday, and the only socks I’ll run in are merino. Especially your merino. They are super comfortable, and never smell, no matter what I put them through.
Sadly all mine are starting to wear out (they haven’t had an easy life), so I am in dire need of some new ones.
Have owned Icebreaker for several years and the items I have are as good as the day they were purchased. Would love some socks to complete my wardrobe.
Five months, four countries, two Kiwis, four feet, 8000km by motorbike in India, 27,000 vertical meters trekked in Nepal, jungles, mud, leeches, tropics, the heat of the Thar Desert, sub-zero cold, dressing for dinner at the Long Bar at Raffles in Singpore, the long, tiring flight home to Aotearoa, Customs inspections. This could read ‘how to get the most out of your socks’, or ‘One of the toughest tests a sock could be made to endure’. No matter what we put them through, our Icebreaker socks held up through this five-month adventure. Sadly, we are now having to retire part of our Icebreaker collection as our socks aren’t quite as snug as they used to be, and the hole nibbled in one by that pesky rodent in Madyha Pradesh, India, has finally defeated my attempt at darning. And they still smell a bit, umm, funky thanks to being washed in water of questionable quality to try and get rid of the Iindian road dust, grime and oil dribbling out of our Roual Enfield bullet motorbike. Pleasepleaseplease, kind Icebreaker people, grant us some new socks so we can be seen in public without people sniffing in alarm and pointing at our feet, searing our cats’ sensitive little noses and making our shoes scrabble away from us into the dark, dank recesses of our wardrobe. Our feet will love you forever.
I need new socks because the old design icebreaker sock all get holes in them and so I’ve got a bunch of holey socks. Ironically enough I shopped my way around London today and realised that I’d rather have icebreaker socks that wear out too fast than any other option. Maybe these new designs will last better than the old ones?
I need new socks to look and feel as good as this guy: http://goo.gl/LQvpU.
I need new socks for hiking here in Hawaii as my wife and I build up to a trip to NZ this December! We’ll be putting on the miles here at home to break in new boots and would love to show off our favorite merino. The socks will be perfect hiking around the South and North islands this December over the best two weeks ever!
Why do I need new socks? Because all my socks are crappy walmart work socks made in Pakistan! Why do they need to make socks in Pakistan? If it resulted in uniquely high quality socks I would understand however they last about 2 months before showing holes. As a result I look so forward to wearing my merino socks I end up trying to wear them two-three days in a row! My wife’s feet are cold even in the summer here in the south, so when I am not wearing them she is. I recently bought some barefoot style shoes but we just dont have the money do put into better socks to help complete the experience. I would sing high praises for a collection of IB socks.
I need new socks, because the summer hasn´t arrived here in Hamburg, Germany and probably never will. Unfortunatelly, I´ve brought all my woolen socks down in the cellar and now I can´t find them any more. Please, only Icebraker Socks will help me to survive this summer and to continue my resolution to go for a run at least twice a week – no matter what the weather might be!!!!
I need new socks because I have one pair with holes in them and I always have to borrow my husbands socks which he is not too keen about – just one of those things I always forget to buy. I also get really bad chill blanes living here in freezing Taupo so nice warm socks would be great especially icebreaker socks
I need new socks because I’d like to own a pair that match! All my other socks are mis-matched – one of every pair has been eaten by the dog, devoured by the washing machine, destroyed by the drier, stolen by my wife, or just plain lost!
Right now all my socks are pretty the same- short white athletic socks. Recently I got a pair of icebreaker socks and I can’t wait to add more to the collection. My feet would appreciate it!
Cold feet, warm heart, they say. I’d like to have my feet stay warm and comfy too, though. I always have trouble keeping my feet warm enouh and though I’ve not yet tried Icebreaker’s socks, I’m sure I’ll just love them, as I basically live in their tops, year round. (In fact, that may be what keeps my heart so warm!) Finding Icebreaker’s base layer tops changed my life for the better, I’m sure these socks could do it again.
I need a new collection of socks because I just moved to New Zealand and my flat has no central heating so it’s less than 10 degrees Celsius inside and my lone pair of Icebreaker socks are wearing through because I use them almost everyday!
I need new socks because my sock drawer spontaneously combusted yesterday. It was very strange. The fire department at first did not know what happened. After concluding their investigation they are citing a pair of old crusty polyester socks as the culprit. I bought the socks years ago to keep me warm during rainy hikes, but I always hated how they would smell like a dead fish when they got wet. A brand new collection of socks made by the most amazing fibre on Planet Earth will help me greatly, since I just started doing triathlons. And I won’t have to worry about the fire department showing up again.
My socks they have three holes,
Three holes have my socks!
The bestest are 10 years old.
I’m an embarrassment to behold.
My socks are not the best
made with cotton and nylon I guess,
From extreme biking to a deserving cappuccino,
I need icebreaker supremo merino!
(please!)
Hi,
I’ve loved icebreaker garments for many years, since i saw them for the first time in my local outdoor shop. Living in Denmark is wet, but nice and wearing icebreaker is mostly just a way of treating myself to a bit of pleasure during a busy week.
however, after many trips to India with much more extreme weather conditions, my icebreaker garments have been through alot, especially the socks during monsoon season in the himalaya mountains. It got very wet and very cold, and we you only see the sun a few hours a day, sucks that warms your feet even when they are wet, becomes a necessity. I would love to back to himalya, and would be even better with a broader range of socks!
I need icebreaker socks so I can tell people I’m ONLY wearing icebreaker
It’s the last of my collection
I have one prize pair of icebreaker socks I use for skiing which are marvelous. The rest of the time I use non-Icebreaker merino socks cause they’re on special or cheap. I walk everywhere all the time and like nice socks. They shrink, wear out or get baggy. Argh! I guess you get what you pay for. Would love to sample your new range of socks.
Yesterday in freezing Melbourne I had on icebreaker leggings, black dress (as a slip) , Black skirt and Bliss wrap and glove liners. The only thing missing was icebreaker socks and it was the only part of me that wasn’t toasty all day!
I would LOVE to win your new collection of wool socks because they do such a great job of keeping my feet dry and comfortable in my leather fire-fighting boots. I fight forest fires for my job and have found only wool socks(and especially Icebreaker socks…because they don’t itch!)keep my feet dry and blister-free while climbing mountains and digging fire lines. Thanks so much for making high-quality socks!
I love stripey socks
I don’t just need any new socks – I need Icebreaker new socks. I hike – at least one serious, long day hike every week. Winter and summer I am on the trail. I used to get blisters. Then I bought Icebreaker socks. They are like a hug for my feet. They cushion me on scree and rock faces. They are soft and comfortable and save my toes on those long steep descents. They keep my feet dry and even smelling fresh after a long, long day. I have had to change socks occasionally when I have stepped into a stream. With a fresh pair of Icebreaker socks I’ve been good to go even in wet shoes! Now, I admit that the Icebreaker socks I have are not worn out – not even after two years of hard wear. But I sure would like some more – because you know the bonus? – they look great too!
I’d like to win them for my husband…I do the laundry and trust me, he needs some hole-free socks (and perhaps some odor control)!
I need these socks to save my marriage. I love my hubby, I do. But honestly if he takes one more pair of my precious Icebreaker socks I swear that’s it. He’s a great guy, he’s ultra-fit thanks to his multi-sport addiction, but his sock stealing fetish has to stop. I would actually give him these socks if I won them, with the condition that he has to leave mine alone. He has all the Icebreaker gear, his socks AND mine… He has to realise that other people can love Icebreaker too.
I’ll leave it in your capable hands to decide on the fate of my marriage.
I love your socks, wear them whenever I can and have need for each of these socks doing a bit of all the sports mentioned.
I have three events coming up in the next few months: a GoRuck challenge, a half marathon and the World’s Toughest Mudder. Each are very different events but what they have in common is that I need to have socks I can count on. Wool for comfort and for these long events as well as the ability to deal with constant immersion in water for the GoRuck and WTM.
I’m a professional landscape and adventure photographer in Moab, Utah. I’m out hiking, trail running, mountain biking and canyoneering ALL THE TIME. I might get up and go for a hike to shoot sunrise, then go home and grab the bike for a ride, then head out for dinner in town later that night. That’s three pairs of socks in just one day! Naturally, they’re all Icebreaker socks. I dig your socks because they’re functional, comfortable, durable and, unlike most socks made for the outdoors, they look good. Damn good, actually. If I had a new collection of socks I’d have to do laundry less often, which would be more gentle on the environment, right? Okay, I admit – that might be a bit of a stretch but it’s worth a shot!
I had three pairs of IB socks, now the universe has gobbled up all the left ones and am wearing odd socks when I go up the mountain for a run, m-bike or tramp. They are the best socks in the world, no chaffing, no smell, super comfortable, stylie, and wear and tear +++. I do have an old pair that has been thrashed down several season in Antarctica and are on their last legs (excuse the pun). The most amazing thing about IB socks is that even when you wear them for days in a row, just rinse in a river, dry in the sun (or fireplace) and presto…..no smell. Easy for us girls who love to get amongst it. Plus our sheep are cute
This is gross. My feet sweat terribly in cotton socks as soon as I put shoes on. Then my socks get wet. Then my feet get cold. Vicious cycle. I always have to carry a spare pair of socks in my handbag in case I get cold feet. Merino keeps me dry & toasty.
Woollen socks rock – they keep you warm and cool – amazing! And if Icebreaker have anything to do with it, they will be funky too.
i need more motivation to run, i live in london, even the olympics hasnt got me out this season!
I have a condition which cause me to completely lose circulation to my hands and feet (Raynaud’s disease) so live in merino. It is a standing joke that I commonly wear five layers of icebreaker and all my socks have to be at least 80% wool. Unfortunately my warmest socks wear out quickest so I am needing replacements!
I need new socks so I can wear Icebreaker every day and always be prepared for whatever my day will bring
I’m planning a trip to Morocco and these socks sound perfect to take with me! With them, I’ll be set to do at least one hike through the Atlas mountains, one run through the Sahara desert, one bike tour of Casablanca, one multisport event if I can find one, and plenty of city exploration!
No rubbing. No stink. No Bulk. Good Looking. Stays warm when wet. Nothing else compares.
We have a serious addiction to Icebreaker. Your socks would see many adventures and have a loving home.
The Chronic Crew
I need some wonderful merino socks because my feet smell worse than an Aussie pig in the summer time. Keep me warm, keep me cool, and keep the people in my life happy:) I love Icebreaker!
i need new icebreaker socks because, like i’m sure many others, i save for the amazingly comfortable styles and colors of tops and outerwear (with enough layers involved, it all works just fine, especially under scrubs and on bike commutes) and have no budget left over for clothing my feet properly!
Four months ago I had my second (and last) child, and to my surpise and disappointment have found that my feet are now at least a shoe size bigger! I already had quite large feet, always being on the ’8′ end of the ’5-8′ sock sizes, but now my socks no longer fit! I’m very much now in the ’9-11′ size, with a drawer of socks I can no longer wear. I would love to celebrate the birth of my son, and the resultant new size of my feet, by some wonderful new Icebreaker socks!
Hello!
It’s right now a toasty hot 31 degrees celsius from where I live. A few hours ago, I was wearing a regular t-shirt at home and felt very sweaty and hot, then I got the bright idea to put on my newly purchased Icebreaker SS Tech Scoop t-shirt, and Lord of the Rings!, the difference in comfort is HUGE! Though it still feels very hot, I no longer feel the sticky sweat against my skin.
Knowing how Icebreaker products can make a huge difference, I would definitely need your new collection of socks most because I have spent the whole Summer (3 to 5 days a week) playing outdoors sports such as tennis, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, jogging, parkour racing and hiking. At the moment, I own many of your clothes for women but only one pair of your socks. New socks will be definitely put to good use!
If you pick me, my restless feet will thank you, as I plan to continue staying active this Fall, wearing Icebreaker merino garments from head to toes!
I tend to wear the same pair of socks everyday; that said I know my coworkers would appreciate something that doesn’t stink.
I need these socks because my son is four weeks old, requires about 15 diaper changes a day, eats every two hours, and doesn’t really care that it’s 3am and Daddy’s sleepy.

In short, this contest catches me at a point in my life when I really don’t have much else going on, and some quality socks would give me a boost to get through the next few months.
I live in a city and love to escape to the sticks, so I’ll enjoy the diversity of socks you’re awarding to the winner. I’m a believer in quality socks, so I’ll appreciate the design that you put into yours.
Fun contest! Thanks!
I have gotten really picky about my socks. So much so that I will not accept anything but merino anymore, and icebreaker are by far my favourite in that subgroup.
my sock collection could use some sprucing up and some colour. And since I recently moved somewhere where Icebreaker is not readily available and it is always a logistical effort to get them in my hands, winning this prize would make it so much more convenient
1. My mum no longer buys me socks for xmas (has been this way for 15+ years).
2. I’m a man (i.e. shopping is scary).
The result is a sock collection on life support. Please help.
Socks… Why do I need more? What girl doesn’t need more great socks? Also, my Smartwool socks all get holes in them far too quickly, and my newest favorites are, of course, Icebreaker. I love all Icebreaker… (except, of course, the price).
We’re going through a bit of a tough financial time right now – I mean, not so tough compared to most, but tough for us, and we love to hike, travel, cycle, etc. And I could really use some great new Icebreaker socks for all of my active activities – and less active ones! Thanks for considering me!
My gosh sock week! I think I better add sort out my sock draw to my list of things to do. I would love to replace some of the older socks in my draw with fancy Icebreakers ones. PS whats so wrong with wearing socks to bed?
I need the Icebreaker socks the most because I enjoy wearing my hiking boots either around town or hiking in the Australian Blue Mountains regions. Being an outdoor instructor and being paid very little, I go through socks likes its going out of fashion. (obviously not Icebreaker!) Plus, im recently dedicating my services to the Australian Army Reserve. But when it comes to wearing comfy socks in boots, i rather wear Icebreaker socks any day!
Looking forward to seeing my name come up!
Cheers!
Like many, I’m needy in various areas of life. A competitive streak encourages a need to compete, perform well, and accept the good and bad luck that comes my way. A new sock collection will encourage a sock drawer re-organization. Icebreaker socks will increase my confidence and bolster my self esteem (and I’ll look great and have comfortable feet).
I have the Icebreaker ski socks, running socks, multi-sports, and city… and like Cookie Monster I want more! more! mooooore!
i just want to make my friends jealous ,well who wouldn’t right
i just want to make my friend,s & family
jealous ,well who wouldn’t be ,right
I need new socks because I have just about every app you can get for your smart devices and none of them seem to support my feet or keep my toes toasty. Hopefully these socks could fit the bill and out-smart my smart devices…
I have heard that you should dress for success and for many women that means pantyhose and heels. Pshaw! How can you feel confident with sweaty and aching feet? I for one think that a sensible lady should wear Ice Breaker socks with her trail shoes or Boggs. I could use a boost of swagger from your socks!
because my old ones stink
I would like to win some new icebreaker socks. Nothing else comes close!
Hi!
I’ve just moved back to NZ after 7 years in the UK. I fell like I’ve been left out of the Icebreaker revolution. My London essential PS stripy socks are all starting to wear out as they are hole-ly inappropriate for NZ sock runs to the letterbox! Please Help!
Would love a new set of socks from IceBreaker! My favourite pair of socks is my Icebreaker pair, but I need more to wear the other days of the week! Would love to have a selection of them!
I have a secret, I’m addicted to icebreaker Coker 200 beanies I have lots, please help me start a new affiliation with your socks, I’m such a sook in the cold and already rely on my oasis crewe, pocket 200 icebreaker products, help my feet get in on the action.
NZ in Winter – I cannot survive without my Icebreaker garments. Every year for the last 5 or so, my two big sons receive a new Icebreaker garment for their birthday. The philosophy and excellence of these products has been passed onto the next generation. Passing through Levin on my way to Wellington – the Icebreaker Outlet draws me like a magnet.
I definately need more of my favourite socks – a great product
I’d love to win some socks – especially the ski socks. Here in the Netherlands we have no mountains or skislopes, so exclusivity is guaranteed!
My feet get cold. I’d love to envelop them in marvelous, mighty, merino. And Icebreaker socks are stylish, stay put on the foot and are NEVER stinky.
Love to have some (more)!!!
Would love a set of Icebreaker merino socks – they look so stylish and will keep my feet warm. I even wear bedsocks every night (including summer) to keep my feet warm and to stop getting cramp in my feet.
I want to win IceBreaker socks because my son has a couple of pairs, but I (teacher) can’t afford them.
I need to win some quality socks from Icebreaker because my socks have holes and I live in the urban jungle of new York city. I tread a lot of pavement daily.
I need the new Icebreaker socks collection, because I’m embracing the elements every day. Hot, cold and everything in between, Icebreaker socks would keep me biking, walking and running through all conditions with a smile on my face! Thanks!
I have never worn Icebreaker socks. This is the sad truth. Isn’t it time?
A challenge is waiting for us this autumn. Climbing mountains is wonderful and it is even more fun with the best gear.
How happy will my feet be wearing icebreaker socks?
I am sure you know the answer
Dear Icebreaker,
I live in the Yukon Territory in northern Canada. I work with youth and am outside in all kinds of weather, from frigid -30 winter camping trips, to +30 summer days of paddling. I’ve found that your wool socks keep my toes comfortable in all kinds of weather, keeping me warm in the winter, and cool in the summer. I also know that I often bring extra clothes for the youth I work with, and they love my icebreaker socks the best. I’ve had my favourite socks ‘run away’ with them, and would love some more pairs to replenish the stock!
thanks,
Jenny
I have super smelly feet and icebreaker socks keep them smelling sweet like roses, no matter if I am out for a run, hiking, snowboarding or walking around the city! I am also coming into my first ever northern hemisphere winter soon and I am going to FREEZE, so icebreaker socks will at least keep my tootsies toasty, and go with my other icebreaker singlets, tshirts and jerseys!
Have you smelled my feet?
Do this not for me, but for my poor friends and family.
On any given Saturday or Sunday in Eastbourne I may SUP to Ward Island, hike to Butterfly Creek, MTB to Pencarrow, windsurf to Soames/Matiu, dine at K-Sing and catch a movie at the Lighthouse. During the week I commute daily by bike and work in the CBD. OK, so Icebreaker don’t make socks for watersports (yet), but that’s still a lot of sock changes in a day and the set pretty much covers it. Living in Eastbourne, I’m a winner anyway!
I really don’t need them, but would love them, I just wanted to share that for the last 10+ years ( 1/3 of my lifetime) all I have worn is icebreaker socks, nothing can compair! Yes a lot of mine are worn thin and have holes but they are still 10xbetter than others, even in our 115 degree weather here in Arizona
My feet are natural. Hence, they only accept something equal.
Simple as! Icebreaker are the baa’s knees (bee’s knees). I get mega blister and have warm feet, so icebreakers are perfect for me.
Hi icebreaker! I just wore some amazing holes in my non icebreaker wool hiking socks, and now need to buy some new ones for my upcoming year as an intern in an outdoor leadership program. It’s all about investing in the first-year college students and setting them up to succeed in the outdoor tourism or camp leadership world. I since I’m a student myself I’d appreciate any help I can get to set myself up to help my younger classmates. Thanks a ton!
My husband has two pairs of Icebreaker socks that he uses for running – one shorter for roads and the other longer for offroad. He will only wear Icebreaker as nothing else is as warm, dry and comfortable. Because he goes for muliple runs over multiple days he has to handwash them and then dry in the hot water cupboard overnight so he can wear them again the next day.
The man needs more of your socks.
I made a committment to climb 3 mountains for charity (one climb left). As I was preparing for my first, I loaded up on gear at Campers Village in Edmonton. The Manager told me that I should only use Icebreaker. So I bought everything from underwear, socks, longjohns, Tshirts, sweaters, and my absolute fav pants! Pretty much all my trekking gear is Icebreaker. Now, I am branching out into the leisure wear too. I just bought the little black dress. Looking forward to being fashionable at the cafe following climb #3 in October.
Me and my two favorite sheep will be competing in the Kiwi pentathlon during which we will:
1 bike from Wanaka to Queenstown,
2 hike the Milford Track,
3 carry Ritchie McCaw from Nelson to Picton,
4 then yacht to Wellington before finally
5 finishing with ballroom dancing.
(Note, the sheep have suggested that I, being the non-hoofed member of the team, accept the socks on the team’s behalf).
I only wear Icebreaker socks because they are the best. I tell anyone who will listen about them too. What better way to spruik your new range by having me wearing them and talking about them too?!
I need to know how heavenly socks feel like. Let me try & I
will be your customer for life.
Have worn Smartwool, Filson, Fox River, WigWams; Need a new feat for my feet…… Time to break the ice with Icebreaker…….stay warm AND comfy everyone
Hands down BEST.SOCKS. EVER.
I have running ones, casual ones, skiing ones, tramping ones and the list goes on….but you can NEVER have too many pairs of Icebreaker socks……just like you can NEVER have too much IB!!!
My paws deserve to stay cozy in Icebreaker’s wooly goodness.
sorry to say, lately my feet stinks. it is sweating like corn chips stink. Smelling aged cheese odor is not a pleasant thing. Help! Will these socks really take the stink out? I am dying to try them.
I think that I should get this collection of socks because I have been looking for my next “go to” brand of socks to wear.
It’s amazing how cheap (don’t last long) socks are made, now a days. I used to have a brand of socks that I got all the time. But they too have gone to the “dark side” of cheaply made socks.
Also, I have just discovered the whole Icebreaker brand. I bought a few Tech shirts and love how they fit & feel.
Getting this free Sock platter would be a good way to test “drive” the quality of Icebreaker socks, don’t you think
Dear ice breaker, I have always been a wool lover. From my grandmas wool sock and sweaters she would make me and would preach the benefit of wool in our cold canadian winters. I thought there could be no better! Well sorry grandma. Since I learned of icebreaker through my position at backside tours I’ve been one of your biggest fans. Snowboarding in the winter, canoeing in the summer and hiking through out the year. Ice breakers ability to keep me warm or cool and always dry is essential. If only this serves as a forum to thank you for your apparel that lets me enjoy the things I do to the fullest without worry of performance, thank you thank you thank you! Lifelong ice breaker, Aaron Kerchinsky
I want to prove (or disprove) my hypotheses that I can brew a superior plunger coffee (or jailhouse style vodka) using a pair of your mighty fine socks in comparison to the cheap Kathmandu pair I’ve been using.
I need some convincing to turn from my beloved Smart Wool.
There’s room for them all in my sock drawer!
A haiku for why I need Icebreaker socks:
Early signs of winter
Cold clinging to my pale toes
Warm Icebreaker socks, please.
I really need a new collection of ICEBREAKER SOCKS because we are having quite a cold spell ( thunder storm) here in Vancouver and it seems we are out of our sandals and back into regular footwear ( it sucks) …plus who doesnt love your collection ?????<3 <3 I DO !
I spend my Saturday night’s rearranging my sock drawer. I need the prize pack the most because then at least my knickers will think I’m hip, sporty and stylish.
Here’s an easy game to play.
Here’s an easy thing to say…
New socks.
Two socks.
Whose socks?
Al’s socks.
Who sews whose socks?
Icebreaker sews Al’s socks.
Who sees who sew whose new socks, sir?
You see Icebreaker sew Al’s new socks, sir.
So don’t give socks to foxes sir.
Give socks to Al, sir!
(obviously a bit of Dr Suess inspiration!)
One of my most cherished memories is a visit to New Zealand where I was exposed to the wonders of merino wool. As a participant in a sport that requires two (and sometimes more) hours standing/sliding on ice, wool socks warm up the experience! Winning a supply of Icebreaker socks would keep me on ice for another curling season!
I’ve tried so many types of socks that claim to keep feet warm etc etc etc and the only ones that have managed to keep my extremely cold feet (due to bad circultation) are my Icebreakers!!! Were reccommended them by a friend andnow swear by them. I have gone on to reccommend them to friends and family, and they too have been very happy with them.
And of course there are all the adventures that my Icebreakers are a staple gear requirement!
Great prize! i would love these! so would outlast my warehouse socks
i would love to win some quality socks. icebreaker socks look great…they wont fall down past my heals when im running
I need the icebreaker sock package, cause over the last year my socks have taken a beating. In the past 12 months, I have completed 1 marathon, 8 halfs, and several 5 and 10km races. Not to mention a few trail runs in there too. I am doing my first half mara on trail at the end of Sept and totally need some sock love. I wanna be ba-a-a-a-a-adass with icebreaker! xx
Honestly, I do not think that it is me. I think that the one who needs the socks collection the most is my grandmother Birgit. Well, ok, maybe except the multisport ones.
I want to salute Birgit, 78 years young. I want to say yay Birgit, you strong, independent woman with both feet firmly on the ground. This one is for your feets, living and loving in the northest of Sweden. For all your future cloudberry field days, your wintertime skiing on the hills. For your trips in the small fishing boat and all your 8 km’s biking to the closest store for milk.
I know Birgit is not climbing K2 or doing a long distance paddling tour across five continents – but that’s not what it is all about. For the time being, I just want Birgit to feel the world she knows in great socks. I want to thank her feets for the way they have inspired me and her other grandchildren to movement, action and reaction.
My mom’s cat loves Icebreaker as much as I do
…except he ate all my socks
This time they’ll be under lock and key!
I go to Africa regularly for youth. Socks would be great for all the time spent with them.
I need a collection of icebreaker socks as I am love icebreaker but basically can’t wear it at the moment because I am pregnant and don’t fit into any of my icebreaker stuff, which makes me so sad. At least if I had a collection of socks one part of my body would be happy
I need those socks to impress the girls at first sight. They’ll be the perfect icebreaker
I need a set of Icebreaker socks because all my inferior brands have holes in them and my Icebreaker ones keep on going for as long as I do.
In March this year I walked the South West Coastal track in Tasmania. I used icebreaker socks and tops for the first time. My God they were outstanding. Clearly I had used an inferior brand of socks on my previous hike as they disintegrated by day five. Next year I plan to walk the Western Aurthers Range in Tassie again. This time I might need two pairs of icebreaker socks to get me through.
I would love this collection of Icebreaker socks – as I need to replace my SmartWool socks that quickly worn thin. I thought I was saving money – but no – they wore out – while the Icebreaker socks I have have held up wonderfully! I want more!
I would love a collection of Icebreaker socks. I have two Icebreaker tops but no socks. I am a bit of a sock collector. I am known by family and friends as the one with strange but great socks – I like the different looks but love socks which are super comfy. My job means I am often in strange places so having great, warm socks is a definite advantage. If your socks are as good as your tops they will be wonderful.
When I wear ordinary socks my feet smell like pigs. When I wear Icebreakers my feet smell like sheep. And everyone knows that sheep smell better than pigs so I really do need these socks.
I need to new socks to keep my feet warm. I usually wear toe socks but am interested in branching out to Icebreaker socks.
I’m doing a 250km/7 day race across Iceland next year (in aid of Forest and Bird) and I’m in the process of collecting good quality socks to avoid blisters during training and the race. Already planning on wearing as much icebreaker as I can (my favourite running top is the icebreaker Rush Crew) because it is superior in so many ways… A good set of socks for both the race and the various forms of training I am doing would be amazing. Blisters are one of the major things that forces people to pull out of these races apparently, and I want to avoid those (and all other injuries, of course)!
Winning the socks would be a dream. I owe 2 pairs of Icebreaker multi sport socks, which I have had for 4 years and they are by far the best fitting and most comfortable socks I own. My problem is that I can’t find Icebreaker products anywhere near my home. So I don’t wear them as much as I would like in order to make them last. Whenever I travel I always look for your products. People in the state I live in have not learned of the value and comfort of Merino Wool year-around.
I have turned so many people on to Icebreaker shirts!! I just love icebreaker!! Nothing like sampling before buying, then turning everyone on to buying the socks!!!
All of my current socks are made out of paper mache.
I love my Tech T lite as well as my body fit 260 1/4 zip, outstanding quality and warm. Keep up the great products
I belong to KSARDA, a search and rescue team that uses dogs. We train and deploy in all kinds of weather and need to have good socks to protect our feet. Icebreakers are the only socks I will wear. I bought my first pairs in NZ and won’t get anything else.
My feet refuse to wear any other socks.
What can I say, Icebreaker? You’ve spoiled my feet.
